This is the completely revised edition of the previously published bilingual Dictionary of Environmental Science & Technology Dutch-English/English-Dutch (1998) distributed by Conseil Publishing, The Hague. Terminology included in this dictionary covers all principal fields related to hydrology and a large number of terms from the fields of ecology, environment science and civil engineering. Revisions and additions to the corpus have resulted from the need to update the previous dictionary due to the emergence of new technologies and trends in the field of environment science.
Ever-changing national and international legislation in the field of the environment were also valid reasons for the decision to revise and make new additions to the existing corpus. The primary concern of the author has therefore remained one of incorporating as much of this terminology as possible into the most compact form available, which has now also included the production of a CDROM version.
This present corpus will also be available on CDROM in Unilex for use in Windows and CAT software. Please contact the publisher for more information.
